Vision
A generation equipped to change what comes next.
To build a compassionate, skilled, ethical, innovative and globally engaged generation capable of creating sustainable, positive change for humanity and for the future.
A youth-led non-profit in Bangladesh, working since 2014 to empower young people through leadership, education, research, volunteerism, advocacy, innovation and global engagement.

About HTF
Help The Future began in Dhaka in 2014 with educational support and youth volunteer initiatives for underprivileged communities. It has grown into a nationally and internationally connected youth platform, dedicated to building socially responsible, skilled, ethical and globally engaged future leaders — and it still runs on the hours its volunteers give it.

Vision
To build a compassionate, skilled, ethical, innovative and globally engaged generation capable of creating sustainable, positive change for humanity and for the future.

Mission
Help The Future is committed:

Why we exist
Despite that potential, many young people meet the same walls: education, leadership opportunities, skills, mental wellbeing, climate vulnerability, social inequality and a plain lack of guidance. HTF exists to build an ecosystem where youth can:
What we do
Everything Help The Future runs — a masterclass, a national competition, a field deployment — sits inside one of these six.
Leadership training, youth engagement programmes, workshops, mentorship and youth-centred initiatives that develop the people who will run the next thing.
Youth participation in research, public policy dialogue, governance awareness and evidence-based advocacy.
Educational workshops, seminars, bootcamps and development programmes focused on communication, leadership, critical thinking and professional growth.
Volunteers mobilised for social impact projects, humanitarian campaigns, environmental initiatives and community-based programmes.
Intercultural exchange, international networking, youth diplomacy and the global engagement opportunities that rarely reach students here.
Raising awareness of youth policy, civic responsibility, democratic participation and sustainable development.
Programmes
Three pieces of work with a date, a place and a partner attached to each. Add the rest as the archive is assembled.

The Bangladesh national final of an international spelling competition, open to students in grades 4 to 12 and hosted with the NSU Debate Club. National winners go forward to the international final.

A single-day session on speaking in public, for students and early-career professionals who rarely get the chance to practise in front of a room.

HTF's own training track, and the way every volunteer starts. Lectures and presentation work first, then team work, then field work. Nobody is sent out before that.
How it works
Nobody is dropped in at the deep end. The training runs in the same order for everyone.

You join
No experience required
You write in. There is no application fee and no requirement to have done anything like this before. Most volunteers are students.
Lecture and presentation
Training starts in a room, with lectures and presentation work. You learn what the six focus areas cover, how a programme is planned, and what is expected of you in front of a child.
Team work
Nobody works alone. You are placed in a team, given a share of a real programme, and held to it by the people beside you.
Field work
Then the practical part. Schools, halls, competitions, and the communities the humanitarian work reaches. This is the part people remember.
Where the work happens
Every programme on this page ran in one city, with schools, universities and partners inside it.

The record
Help The Future has not published headline impact totals. Rather than estimate them, this page shows only what can be sourced.
Seven answers, and what we cannot answer yet.
A Bangladesh-based, youth-led non-profit working to empower young people through leadership, education, research, volunteerism, advocacy, innovation and global engagement. It was founded in Dhaka in 2014 and started out with educational support and volunteer initiatives for underprivileged communities.
Young volunteers, most of them students, working under a small permanent team. HTF has been run by its volunteers since 2014.
Six areas: youth leadership and capacity building; research and policy engagement; education and skills development; volunteerism and humanitarian action; global citizenship and international collaboration; and civic engagement and advocacy. Every programme sits inside one of them.
Write to the office and say a little about yourself. Training runs in three parts: lectures and presentation work, then team work, then field work. You will not be sent into the field before that is done.
No. Most people arrive with none. The training exists precisely because it is not assumed.
Yes. HTF works with institutions, educators, professionals and development partners as well as individual volunteers, and has run programmes with university clubs and education partners — including the national final of the Global Spell Bee at North South University. Get in touch and say what you have in mind.
